Children Counselling

Children experience big emotions and sometimes they don’t yet have the words to explain what’s going on. These 50-minute sessions provide a warm, welcoming, and age-appropriate space where children can feel safe, understood, and supported while learning healthy ways to express their emotions, build confidence, and navigate challenges.

Sessions are adapted to each child’s developmental stage and may support them with anxiety, worries, emotional regulation, friendship or family challenges, grief, trauma, self-esteem, and other big feelings or life changes.

Counselling may include play-based and creative approaches, along with Neuroscience and Satir in the Sand Tray (NSST) Therapy, allowing children to communicate and process experiences in ways that feel natural to them. For families who desire it, Christian faith-based counselling can be thoughtfully integrated through age-appropriate conversations, stories, prayer, scripture, and activities that nurture hope and a sense of peace and purpose.

Family Counselling

Families today are navigating a lot including busy schedules, changing roles, parenting challenges, technology and social media, communication struggles, stress, and the many transitions that come with family life. These family counselling sessions provide a supportive, practical space for 2–3 family members to slow down, reconnect, and work through challenges with support and care.

Sessions focus on the family’s current strengths and needs, and may include improving communication, strengthening relationships, navigating parent-teen or parent-child challenges, managing conflict, supporting emotional regulation, working through life transitions, or rebuilding connection after difficult experiences.

The goal is not to find someone to blame, but to better understand one another and develop healthier ways of navigating life together as a family.

Sessions may incorporate NSST Therapy and other creative, experiential approaches to help family members understand patterns, perspectives, and emotions in new ways. For families who desire it, Christian faith-based counselling can be thoughtfully integrated, drawing on faith, hope, prayer, scripture, and shared values to support healing, connection, and growth.

Small Group | Couple Counselling

Sometimes it helps to know you’re not the only one navigating something. Small Group Support offers a welcoming, supportive space for a small number of people (2-3 individuals) who are experiencing similar life challenges or questions. These sessions can also be a space to help small groups work through relational conflicts or communication breakdown.

Groups are designed to be practical, relational, and encouraging, with opportunities to learn, reflect, share, and develop tools that can be carried into everyday life. Focused topics may include stress and emotional wellness, parenting, relationships, grief, life transitions, faith and mental health, or other areas of shared need. Small groups can also identify areas and challenges they wish to work through with the support of a neutral and caring guide.

Depending on the group, sessions may include psychoeducation, guided discussion, creative and experiential activities, and NSST Therapy. For groups where faith is a shared foundation, Christian faith-based support may be thoughtfully integrated through scripture, prayer, reflection, and conversations about hope, purpose, and spiritual well-being.
