Child Counselling

Sessions are adapted to each child’s developmental stage and may support them with anxiety, worries, emotional regulation, friendship or family challenges, grief, trauma, self-esteem, and other big feelings or life changes.
Counselling may include play-based and creative approaches, along with Neuroscience and Satir in the Sand Tray (NSST) Therapy, allowing children to communicate and process experiences in ways that feel natural to them. For families who desire it, Christian faith-based counselling can be thoughtfully integrated through age-appropriate conversations, stories, prayer, scripture, and activities that nurture hope and a sense of peace and purpose.
Children experience big emotions and sometimes they don’t yet have the words to explain what’s going on. These 50-minute sessions provide a warm, welcoming, and age-appropriate space where children can feel safe, understood, and supported while learning healthy ways to express their emotions, build confidence, and navigate challenges.
