Youth Counselling

Being a teenager can sure feel like a lot! It may be one of the most challenging seasons for teens and for their families. Navigating school, friendships, family, emotions, developmental changes, identity, and figuring out what comes next can feel very overwhelming. These 50-minute counselling sessions offer teens a welcoming, judgment-free space to talk things through, make sense of what they’re experiencing, and build tools for navigating life with greater confidence and hope.

Sessions are adapted to each child’s developmental stage and may support them with anxiety, worries, emotional regulation, friendship or family challenges, grief, trauma, self-esteem, and other big feelings or life changes.

Counselling may include play-based and creative approaches, along with Neuroscience and Satir in the Sand Tray (NSST) Therapy, allowing children to communicate and process experiences in ways that feel natural to them. For families who desire it, Christian faith-based counselling can be thoughtfully integrated through age-appropriate conversations, stories, prayer, scripture, and activities that nurture hope and a sense of peace and purpose.
